Dorchester Town Supporters' launch new web site


Dorchester Town Football Supporters' Club have today announced the launch of a brand new, interactive web site. The site, www.dorchestertownsupportersclub.co.uk is part of a wider re-branding package that has seen the ambitious fans group adopt a new crest and membership package.

Hosted by the local community network this is dorchestester online, the site offers a user friendly layout, allows members to fully interact with one another, and participate in upcoming iniatives such as the soon to be introduced Player of the Month award. Additionally, potential new members will be able to read about the clubs work within the community, and join online.

Supporters' Club Chairman Terry Spracklen says "This is a fantastic new development for the Supporters' Club, and a massive step forward for us. We fans have a huge role to play in our football club, and we hope the introduction of this web site will allow more of the Magpie's faithful to join us as we look to take this club further."

The group has seen a sharp rise in membership this season, especially from the younger generations, something the club chairman warmly welcomes;"The last couple of seasons have seen a number of the youngsters join us. Not only have they brought with them some fantastic new ideas, but also the energy and enthusiasm that is so prevalent at home games. We hope the development of this web site will encourage more of the Magpie's faithful to join our ranks."

The web site also plays host to images by local photographers Idris Martin and David Buntley. Dorchester Town Supporters Club meet every second Wednesday of the month, at the Football Club's Avenue Stadium.
